NuVentures brings people together through a vibrant mix of events sparking fresh ideas, meaningful conversations, and unexpected connections. From high-energy summits to playful networking formats, these gatherings create opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors to learn, collaborate, and grow.
Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 took place in November 2025 and it highlighted a clear shift in India’s startup ecosystem right from idea-stage experimentation to execution-driven company building. Organized by the Government of Karnataka’s Department of IT, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, the event drew over 15,000 delegates, 500–600 global speakers, and more than 1,000 exhibitors from over 60 countries. NuVentures had the opportunity to host a stall at the event and we met many interesting founders building future forward companies.
BTS 2025 taught us that AI has moved beyond being a buzzword. Founders showcased vertical-specific solutions embedded directly into enterprise workflows. We saw this demonstrated across sectors like fintech, healthcare, mobility, machine learning and more.
Deeptech also showed meaningful progress toward commercial readiness. Hardware, robotics, spacetech, and industrial innovation startups came with clearer go-to-market strategies, partnerships, and realistic scale paths. Another standout theme was capital efficiency. Founders are building leaner teams, validating faster, and prioritising early revenue in response to a tighter funding environment. The result is sharper execution and more resilient startup models.
NuTennis is the maiden tennis tournament by NuVentures and it took place on 17th May 2025. The event was an energetic day of networking, friendly competition, and sunshine-filled conversations. The courts brought together some of Bangalore’s most exciting startup founders, VC analysts, and ecosystem leaders for a truly closed-door, high-impact gathering.
Beyond the matches and match points, NuTennis stood for something bigger. Proceeds from the tournament were donated to the Indian Wheelchair Tennis Tour, an initiative by Astha. The contributions will support efforts to empower people with physical disabilities through sport, education, and civic participation; making every serve count for a meaningful cause.
NuVentures played an active and hands-on role at the TiE Global Summit (TGS) 2024, one of the world’s largest entrepreneurship gatherings, held across Bengaluru and Mysuru from December 9 to 12. Over a six-month lead-up to the summit, NuVentures partnered closely with TiE Bangalore, working alongside Madan Padaki and Ritu Sharma to drive two flagship initiatives - the TGS100 Challenge and the Road to TGS webinar series. NuVentures had the opportunity to host a stall at the event and we also co-sponsored the TGS100 Challenge. The Challenge attracted over 1,100 startup applications across healthtech, B2B SaaS, fintech, and climate tech. The jury featured leading ecosystem voices including Venk Krishnan, Vani Kola, Sudhir Sethi, BV Jagadeesh, and Ravi Gururaj. Beyond innovation and scale, many startups stood out for their strong social impact — from education access to accessibility solutions. The Road to TGS webinar series further set the stage with founders and investors from firms such as Accel, Blume Ventures, and Canaan, alongside leaders from the RBI Innovation Hub and Fulton Bank. Together, these efforts reflected NuVentures’ commitment to building founder-first platforms and backing innovation at the earliest stages.
