Venk Krishnan

Venk Krishnan is the founder of NuVentures and passionate about the Indian startup ecosystem. Venk has been an early investor and in some cases strategic advisor for the likes of MuSigma, Raaga.AI, Acko, Foxtale, Third Wave Coffee, Pocket Aces & HomeLane. Additionally, Venk has also been a key contributor to the burgeoning Indian startups in the SaaS space. As an early-stage investment fund, Venk has built NuVentures with the primary goal to make entrepreneurs successful by introducing the startups to key customer relationships. NuVentures is also dedicated to supporting human-centric & social Impact initiatives under the umbrella of NuSocial, by addressing needs of sustainable and humanitarian projects.
Venk has also founded NuWare (www.nuware.com) , a US incorporated niche solutions firm with many marquee name brands as its customers. NuWare was listed on “Inc-500 and a Fast 50 Company”. He also founded GovXcel, in the US -a software startup for US local governments which was acquired by Mitchell Humphrey. Prior to starting NuWare, Venk has worked at premier Wall Street firms including JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, StateStreet Bank, Soc Gen, Bear Sterns, Morgan Stanley.
His hobbies include travelling with family, reading, music and nurturing his enthusiasm for Tennis. He is also an animal lover and enjoys spending time with his dogs at the farm.

Visveswaran Kartik

As a founding member of Nuventures leadership since inception in 2015, Kartik with a diverse expansive investment experience leads the growth portfolios with a penchant for innovative ideas in Fintech SaaS solutions and consumer technology.
Kartik has over three decades of technology experience in global financial services industry with a focus on strategic corporate initiatives and customer engagement. Kartik has a master’s degree in computer Science from USA and a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
He’s also an avid runner, movie buff, trained in classical music and loves to decode film music and orchestral background scores

Neel Mukerji

Neel Mukerji is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, and financial management. As the CFO of NuVentures, Neel oversees all financial operations, ensuring sustainable growth and executing strategic initiatives that drive the company’s long-term success. In addition, Neel leads NuWare US Operations, where he prioritizes customer success and ensures that the needs of clients are consistently met. He also heads the Sales team, driving sales growth and helping to shape the company’s expansion strategies.
Neel holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Monmouth University, blending a deep understanding of both finance and technology. His diverse expertise allows him to bridge the gap between financial management and operational excellence.
In his leadership role, Neel is committed to maintaining financial integrity and fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and innovation.
Outside of work, he is a passionate mixologist, enjoys karaoke, and loves traveling to new countries to experience different cultures and going on adventures.

Prabhakar DJ

Prabhakar DJ is a Partner at NuVentures, bringing a proven track record of helping early-stage startups navigate complex technical challenges and scale successfully in the U.S. market. With over 25 of experience across diverse sectors—including asset management, deep tech, and health insurance, DJ has the unique ability to identify opportunities, foster innovation, and guide founders in honing their technology strategies.
DJ worked extensively as a Senior Consultant, developing a hands-on understanding of product development, market entry, and operational execution. This broad-based perspective enables DJ to advise on everything from building robust product roadmaps and implementing cutting-edge solutions to establishing strong regulatory and compliance frameworks
At NuVentures, DJ partners closely with entrepreneurs to create growth strategies that align technical vision with sustainable business models. A collaborative leader, DJ is dedicated to helping founders gain competitive advantage, secure market traction, and ultimately bring transformative ideas to life in one of the world’s most dynamic startup ecosystems.
In his free time, DJ – true to his nickname – is a music enthusiast and enjoys playing the bass guitar. He is also an avid tennis player.

Inchara Jaganath

Inchara is the Sr. Analyst at NuVentures and leads sourcing, portfolio management and strategic partnerships across sectors. Her role spans market research, concept analysis and overall due diligence to make investment recommendations based on startup potential, while exploring tactical expansion and scaling opportunities for existing portfolio companies.
Inchara has over 15 years of experience, largely gathered through principal roles in the startup ecosystem ranging from running incubation/acceleration programs and curating/executing vertical & technology specific cohorts to leading corporate innovation initiatives, co creation/open innovation models and venture capital. Her professional skills also span experiential marketing, content, communication and events for comprehensive brand building.
At NuVentures, Inchara works closely with startups, portfolio companies and the Partners to transform innovative business ideas into successful reality, ensuring investor confidence for startups.
In her free time, Inchara enjoys yoga, sports and the outdoors – particularly scaling new heights while hiking and rock climbing, while exploring global cuisine and travel on extended breaks.

Aishwarya Ramesh

Aishwarya works as the Content Head at NuVentures, where she leads the development and implementation of the companys social media strategy. In her dual role, she also works as an analyst, conducting thorough evaluations of promising startups in the AI/ML, Fintech and Healthtech sectors. She is a seasoned journalist and communications professional with close to a decade of experience working with top-tier publications, including Economic Times – Brand Equity, Afaqs!, Scroll.in, BloombergQuint (now NDTV Profit), and Firstpost. Her work spans a range of topics, from startups and technology to digital marketing, social media and human-interest stories. She graduated from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune, where she developed a strong foundation in research and writing.
Outside of work, she is an avid reader and armchair traveller – who travels the length and breadth of the world through the written word. She has a penchant for reading crime, thriller and romance novels. When her nose isn’t buried in a book, she can be found in the kitchen, whipping up new recipes or at an exotic restaurant – trying new cuisines. She is also a painter and a music and film enthusiast.
